-The internet is definitely a human right, it allows us to communicate with people and it tells us what is going on in our country and other countries as well. To deny the internet to some is like taking away someones speech

    - I don't think china is worried about what could happen to there country Instead there more worried about trying to prevent there people from finding out about the Egypt ordeal because the president wants to stay in office longer

-Yes, it is a human right to know what is happening in the world. The Internet helps you do that so it is a human right.

-Yes, if someone reads something on the internet, they can change the way they think on something.

-No and yes, the President wants to stay in office longer. But, on the flip side, he doesn't want the country to fall into chaos. It is a two way street.

  3. •Yes. The internet is a human right because everyone should have the right to get on the internet whenever they want to and it shouldn't be controlled.

•Yes. It is a social change because if someone see something on the internet then they can change.

•Yes. Because then the presadant dosesn't want to make the country that hes running go into chaos

    - No, I don't think the internet is human right because you can live without it. People now have been used to living with internet and their communications all over the world through technology that we forgot how to do things old ways. People have done fine without internet in the past why do we still need it. i do think it is a nice necessity to have but people rely on the internet to much.

    - The internet is a vehicle for social change. the internet is now used for television purposes, news purposes, entertainment purposes, and many more. There will soon be no newspaper or news on T.V. because everyone will be on their computer on the internet.

    - Yes, China should be worried about what could happen to their internet and the rest of the world should be worried. China is maybe the most important country to the world economically. They control so many things that if they lose major connections to other parts of the world their would be a mess. Many countries rely on China and now that people can't get resources from China there is a international crisis.

  5. Yes the internet is a human right because its amazing that you can talk to people that live on the other side of the world.
Yes because people can change your stuff that you make by the press of a button.
Yes because they quoted "We want to make sure this never happens to us".

  6. -Yes the internet is a human right because if the internet is made for the public then every part of the internet should be available. It's almost like if you pay your phone company and they only let you call or text one person.

-Yes because its a form of communication from state to state or country to country so people that live far away can talk to each other using internet.

-I would think that China would be worried because the government of China could cut off more of the peoples resources such as phones or just shut down internet itself.

  7. Yes the Internet is a HUGE human right because it is peoples way of living. Without Internet people would have crappy jobs, less good education, and school learning. Teachers mostly teach off the Internet, if people lost this privilege then life itself would be boring. People wouldn't be able to learn, teach, and things like that as well as they could. We need Internet, it's a great human right.

Yes it is a vehicle of change because more and more countries are having internet. Yes China is worried about what happened because they have a leader who has been there for a while and they do not want there people to know about what is going on in China.

    - I believe that the internet should be a human right. Many peoples lives go through or are on the internet. It's the best way for communication and access to WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT to this world!!

    - Yes the internet will be the high most social change. When we have no more other connections to the outside world we will rely on the internet only.

    - I do not believe China is not too worried about how their country will turn out, their people are loyal and their country is (I believe) not having too much problems to worry about this little thing....

In order to decide whether the internet is a right or not, you must first ask yourself if anything in the first amendment is a right. The internet promotes freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, kind of freedom of petition, and somewhat freedom of religion. Restricting the internet is restricting these rights. The internet is definitely a "vehicle for social change". The internet has created a revolution, the information age, an age where any information you want is free and available. And China is obviously worried about revolution if they're blocking #egypt. Hadurpadurpadurp.

•Yes, because they are worried it will happen to their country as well. If it does end up like Egypt chaos will break out.

The internet is a human right. There is many ways to use the internet. Many of those things are helpful and some are not so good. So The internet is a human right because it is used a lot day to day in the world

The internet is a vehicle for social change. There are internet sites like Facebook and Twitter that millions of people go to everyday. With websites like Twitter anyone can be a reporter and people like celebrities have thousands of followers and people who read their blogs.

I think China would be worried about what could happen to their country. If China sees that countries and their people are revolting against their government then China's citizens might think they should have a revolt. Which will cause major problems for China.

Also it could help you by finding medical prosedures to help people in new ways you could probably get more information from the internet than actually looking for it based on rumors and china is trying to get a good rep.?

  30. Yes because the internet lets us communicate with other people. The internet should have certain restrictions though, some children will play to violent of video games or computer games and become violent themselves. The Internet also lets people find information that they need for a project or a paper. I think that the kids of today are getting lazy because they are always on the computer, the teenagers of today, I bet, don't really know what fun is. Most of us don't get outside enough and don't play anymore.

Chine thinks that the internet will reveal to much to the people living there, and that they won't use social skills or anything and just use the internet for everything and not watch the news or pay for the newspaper or anything.

I think that the internet is a human right because it is necessary for a
country if it wants to change and progress. I think that the point of internet is to give people information and information is a human right. Also if people all around the world work so hard to advance the internet, what is the point if no one can use it?

I think that the internet is defiantly a vehicle for social change. It is a place for people to realize that change is possible and also a place to share change that people are accomplishing in other places. It gives people hope.

I think that the Chinese Government is very worried. Even though China is a very powerful country it is becoming increasingly hard for the government to block all information. I think that that worries the government a lot.

Yes, the internet is definitely a human right. At least 4 out of 5 human's in the world use the internet everyday to research topics, have fun with social events and connect with friends. Everyone deserves the internet!

The internet really is a vehicle for social change! You can keep up with anything with your friends and its such a help use to spread information instead of telling everyone in person!

In China is probably worried. Very worried. They must think that using social devices such as the internet, word could get out of what they're doing to Egypt. If anyone heard of this drama, China could get in serious trouble!
